Gustav Mahler was the last composer to write large-scale symphonies. Nine to be precise – the 10th remained unfinished – which often include vocal parts. On this single CD the fourth symphony for soprano and orchestra. On texts from among others ‘Des Knaben Wunderhorn’. With soprano Alexandra Coku.
