Often referred to as the spiritual godfathers of Irish folk, The Dubliners return this year with a comprehensive collection of nitty gritty, urban folk classics.
‘Too Late To Stop Now…’ is a double album - CD1 comprises ‘best of’ studio recordings 1972 - 2005, CD2 presents an edited version of the ‘Live at the Gaiety’ 40th Anniversary Concert in 2002 in Dublin.
The Dubliners are now in the 44th year of a career that has seen them release a top 20 single or album in the 60’s, 80’s and even 00’s, proving that they are still as popular now as at any stage in their career. CD1 showcases all of their finest classics including their Top 10 hit ‘The Irish Rover’, which features The Pogues.
Even to this day, fans of all ages are making appearances at the band’s energetic and untiring live shows and the live experience is captured on CD2’s live album. The 2002 concert at ‘The Gaiety’ in Dublin was a celebration of 40 years of the Dubliners and proved to be a pivotal point in their careers.
